The Responsibility in Firearm Legislation (RIFL) Act would make Illinois the first state in the nation to require gun manufacturers to share in the public costs of gun violence directing resources toward survivors and community‑based violence prevention.
Join us for a #District111 #TownHall conversation on community safety, prevention, and responsibility hosted in collaboration with Metro East Organizing Coalition -MEOC, Collinsville Community Collective, SAFE Illinois - Safe Access For Everyone and members of the RIFL Act Coalition.

Open to the public, this townhall marks the first of a series inviting advocacy groups, community leaders, and residents to discuss the real issues affecting Illinois starting with safety and prevention. These town hall's creates space for education, dialogue, and preparation as Illinois considers solutions that invest in communities and prioritize communities in Illinois.
